Mission
Make encrypted streaming efficient, measurable, and deployable
Enterprises should not choose between compliance and performance. Our mission is to close the gap with architecture purpose-built for encrypted OTT — from visibility to local fulfilment.
Origin story
Why we built NexCache
Operators told us the same story: streaming traffic was invisible in traditional tools, uncacheable with legacy appliances, and exploding as hybrid work and guest experiences normalized 4K OTT on corporate, campus, and mobility networks.
Generic CDNs optimise the public internet path — not the repeated last-mile and campus loops where the same encrypted segments traverse your estate hundreds of times a day. NexCache targets that gap with a platform split cleanly between intelligence and delivery.
What makes the technology different
- Purpose-built handling of DRM-encrypted segment patterns rather than treating video as generic HTTPS blobs.
- A productised path from passive Insights analysis to Edge nodes — so customers do not bridge two unrelated vendors.
- Offline and near-live scenarios treated as first-class design constraints, not edge cases.
Operating principles
How we work with customers
Security first
We design around content protection, key handling, and audit expectations — not as bolt-on checks.
Efficiency with proof
Bandwidth and cost claims tie back to telemetry customers can reconcile against their own bills.
Deployability
Real enterprises have mixed vendors and change windows. We fit into operational reality, not idealised lab diagrams.
Measured outcomes
Insights exists so budgets are approved on evidence. Edge exists so savings land in production, not slide decks.
